The following waiting periods apply before any benefits are payable:

• Immediate family – six (6) months.
• Parents and extended family – six (6) months.
• The above only applies to natural death.
• Accidental death is covered after one (1) full calendar month of first premium
• Suicidal death only covered after twelve (12) months.

• Premiums are payable monthly on or before the 7th of every month.
• Kindly inform the head office should you have noticed that the premium was not
  deducted from your bank.
• Please communicate with our consultants to ensure that all your desired benefits are
  added to your policy and are in force.
• Policy lapses after 3 months of non-payment.

The following documents will be needed to process and finalise any claims:

• Certified ID of the deceased
• Certified ID of the claimant
• Certified copy of a death certificate
• Proof of payment/premium history
• BI-1663 form
• Burial order
• Medical/police report (in case of unnatural death)
